On April 11th, 2000 I went to a Job Placement Service. I was told to go to a Christian School and apply for a preschool position. After finishing my application, I was sitting in the hall area waiting to be interviewed when an eight-year-old girl came to me and asked, "Do you know God?" I then replied, "What do you mean?" She said "I mean if you were to die today would you go to heaven or hell?" I answered, "Well I would go to Hell." She said, "Let's pray because I want you to be my best friend in Heaven." So I started to cry and bow my head when she said, "No not like that, like this." She got on her hands and knees and started praying. Both of us in tears then started praying and before I knew it I was screaming to the Lord to save my soul and forgive me of my sins. When we were done praying I stood up and felt the burden disappear, I felt a sense of Peace throughout my whole body. The girl took my hand and asked if I felt any different. I then looked her in her eyes and said I will be your friend in Heaven. We both turned around and the entire school both students and staff were on their knees praying along with us. Before leaving the building the little girl came to me and said that she was dying of Aids and handed me a piece of paper stating her name and telephone number. She smiled and said, "We can be friends on earth too!" Now I want to thank all of you for the prayer and faith. God today spoke to me through a eight year old child. I am proud to say that I will see you all in Heaven. And Christine you will always be in my heart. I will never forget you.
