I am going to give you the testimony
of a girl name Charlene Rajpat. She began to come to Sunday School
and to church about three years ago. The Sunday School is one of
the mission the church is carrying out. It is located in Tumpa Hill.
Her family told her it's alright to go but don't get baptized. Baptism
to a Hindu is the turning point of one of their followers. This is
the point when they know that a person is truly a follower of Christ.
After she had been to SS and Church I can see the power of the Holy Spirit
convicting her life. She began to ask me questions
about sins, forgiveness, God, His
Son, Calvary, and their famous doctrine good works. Every time I
see her I knew that she was moving off Hinduism. In January of '98,
after a message was preached in church, the altar call was made.
She immediately stepped off her seat and ran down the aisle, and told me
that she needs to trust Christ to make it to heaven. She fell on
her needs and prayed and got up and look at me and told me that I am saved,
I now have Jesus, I was lost and now I am found. She trusted Christ
that day and she told me that a new life had began
for her. When we had the
baptism last month, she told me that you know that I cannot baptized because
my parents will kill me. I told her I understand. The day for
baptism, I drove in the village to pick up those who want to witness the
baptism. She came. When we were in the beach she told me that
she is going to get baptized because she needs to make it public of what
happen to her. She said she cannot keep this peace in. We baptized
her that day. But until this day her parents doesn't know about it.
The people in the beach know, but her parents
don't. Please pray for her
because she told me if they find out they will never treat her like their
daughter.
